Fiona Turner
| Since completing her Masters in Biological Chemistry (with Honours), Fiona T has been immersed in the wine industry. Her oenological skills have taken her to California, Hawke's Bay, Central Otago and Marlborough, where she now lives, works and plays. As a winemaker Fiona focuses on producing wines that are true to variety and express the characteristics inherent on the vine. To complement her own Home Block fruit, Fiona draws on her considerable experience to identify vineyards which produce exceptional fruit, worthy of carrying the Tinpot Hut name. In the winery Fi is very hands on and also travels throughout the year - when possible - visiting the various markets where her wines are enjoyed. Fi is supported by husband Hamish and her two young boys Alistair and William. |
